This is one class in a 3-part series of self-treatment workshops created to support you in your healing journey. In each class gain a better understanding of what fascia is, how restrictions in the connective tissue affect you, your posture, and mobility. Learn techniques that you can do at home to release your own restrictions as they’re created to prevent further injury, arthritis and many other painful conditions in the body that come from everyday strain and overuse.
In the 1st class we’ll discuss fascia and explore the mind-body connection in preparation for self-assessment. Then we’ll focus attention on aligning the pelvis to support alignment of the spine. Self-treatment techniques will be applied to the hips, low back and legs in during this session.
In the 2nd class we’ll have a short review of fascial anatomy, self-assessment, and MFR principles before diving into self-treatment of the upper back, chest and shoulders.
In the 3rd and final class, we’ll dive into self-treatment of the neck and jaw.
